Usually when I make a discovery, I tell a few people.  I text my sister if I find a nail salon that gives long hand massages.  I e-mail a few of my friends when I hear about an upcoming concert or about how our childhood bully is pregnant.  And then there are times when I make a discovery so big and momentous, so life-changing and spectacular that I can’t just tell a few people. I have to EVERYONE.  It’s a service really– I do it for the greater good.  I do it for humanity.

Introducing my latest discovery (It’s one for the books): CHOCOMIZE

When choosing a staple shoe, it’s important to consider how that shoe is going to work with your day and night looks alike, as well as your dressy and casual.  Things to consider are the cut of the shoe, the height, and very importantly, the color.  Black is a sure bet in the winter, but depending on your wardrobe, it will refuse to carry you through all seasons.  Let down by your black shoes, you’ll be forced to search out another option, one more forgiving that you can lean on and walk in year-round.  And that’s how we come to brown.  It’s less severe, and more versatile.  It matches everything (even black–yeah, you can do that now) and it makes a statement.  With black, you’ve thrown on your ‘match everything’ shoes.  With brown, you’ve got yourself a look.

“Who doesn’t love free stuff? I’m highly competitive, so I absolutely love free stuff from raffles or dumb contests at family gatherings, etc – stuff that you don’t pay for but that you feel like you deserve since you ran a little faster or found more Easter eggs than someone else. How does it make me feel? Awesome!

The best free thing I ever got was my grandpa’s old jacket. It’s really well-made and after a trip to the cleaner’s it looked awesome. Whenever I wear it I always get compliments. And when people ask where I got it, I just reply, “Oh, it’s vintage” and walk away trying to look as chic as possible.”
