“You Either Have Grace, or…You Don’t…”

In the category of things that might interest only a small segment of our shoe-loving public, the greatest television show of all time, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” returns to the ariwaves on September 20th.
And in even better news, reports have it that the seventh season will feature an on-screen reunion of the entire cast of Seinfeld, for the first time since, well, since Seinfeld.
And do you what that means? It means we get to see Julia Louis Dreyfuss again, without having to watch “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” and without having to watch old re-runs of this…
Not that we mind, of course.
So in honor of the return of Elaine, tiny sprite though she may be, we’ll throw it over to you folks out there in the cyber-peanut gallery.
If Elaine Benes were real, and walking around today, and if by some chance she happened to wear a size 11.5–then what BFT shoes would she be sporting?
In other words, what shoes look good with an ankle-length floral-print dress, a pair of white doily socks, and a big wall of hair?
Anyone? Anyone?

My guess would be the Blowfish “hardwork” booties in brown, because it’s Elaine’s style but a bit updated

I love Elaine for who she was(or is, if she’s still around). I don’t care if she wears old sneakers with that long ankle length dress, I look at how she acts as a person(she cracks me up), at her SOLE. That’s much more important to me. So please, stop stepping on her toes, and making her feel horrible. Imagine if someone made fun of you, what shoes you wear(though to be honest, your shoes do look good.)Please have some empathy. Try to picture yourself in her shoes.

A lot of blowfish blowing around. I can see her in the Sass Flats, most def, and thisclose to seeing her in the Booties. But what color?

I think a whole Seinfeld episode could have been written around the Sorel Helen of Tundra Boot. It’s March in NYC, it’s cold and snowing and Elaine spots the boots in a chic store window. Surprised by their style and functionality she buys them. She wears them all winter, loving the compliments she gets from strangers on the street. When the weather gets warmer Elaine can’t seem to part with the boots. She wrestles with how to transition them into a spring time look. She tells George and Jerry her dilemma, they shake their heads and tell her some quippy line like, “it’s time to give those boots the boot.” The episode ends with Elaine sweating at an outdoor party, wearing sundress and hat and the BOOTS!
