“All Aboard!”

August 28th, 2009 by admin

Here’s a question for you all to ponder this weekend.

When does sassy become too much sassy?

Answer?

Never!

And so we thought this fine Friday we’d leave you with a few shots of our sassiest shoes–call it our sassy hall of fame.

Your job? Tell us which is the most sass-tastic!

Is it these double-fringe booties from Manimal?

These ‘Dahling’ Boots, by Faryl Robin?

Or these ‘Jack’ Flats, by Andrea Carrano?

Write in votes are welcome of course–so to the polls fellow travelers! And we’ll see you on the high seas!

Tough one–to me, it’s a toss-up between the flats and the boots. Both display their own unique brand of sassification…the moccasins I find to be more quirky than sassy, and in the ’09, sass is ach-ya, while quirk is definitely a nischt-nischt…

If there was a Sassyland Carrano’s “Jack” Flats would be the official shoe of Sassy City.

My vote’s for the Dahling boots by Faryl Robin. Like Patrick, I think the moccasins are more quirky. The flats, to me, just aren’t what I think of for being sassy…can’t quite describe it more than that. :)

Although I realize by “sassy” you mean “stylish” or “chic” but let’s pretend you also mean “sassy” as in a western African tree species of the pea family. This serves two purposes, first of all it’s fun and second of all it makes our decision easy as 99% of the people would choose the “Millie” sandal by 80%20 as being the sassiest (most like a tree as well as being stylish and chic). The other 1% might choose another shoe because abrupt gastrointestinal issues caused them to be disoriented. Or they might interpret the question as meaning they should give a sassy answer, and instead of naming a shoe they say something impudent. On a sidenote, I wonder if Sassyland’s national tree is the sassy.
