Fourth of July is coming up (I can’t wait!!) and Barefoot Tess is consumed with red, white, and blue spirit! This week we celebrate the country’s independence by honoring the vibrant and beautiful colors that represent this free nation. Ok – so my patriotic speech is a little over the top… but I just was so excited for these color sales! The next three days, either red, white, or blue shoes will be 35% off at Barefoot Tess (one color on sale each day)! AHHHH! I love it.
What is today’s color you ask? Oh, you RED my mind:
Use code ‘RED‘ on the first page of checkout to get your discount, and ENJOY! Blue or white lovers? Come back tomorrow… he he he…
Seeking shoes? Seeking great prizes? Seeking something to seek?
Barefoot Tess teamed up with fabulous shoe-loving blogs, sites, and friends to create an incredible Shoe Seek 2009 scavenger hunt contest for a whole grand prize package full of wonderful prizes! It is almost too good to be true, too amazing to believe, too incredible to fathom… except it really does exist.
What can you win? What can’t you win? Here is what the grand prize package includes:
Let’s get right down (and I do mean literally down) to business. Yeah, OK, I’ve used that same line in a previous flat-related blog. So what? I get to do that if I want. It’s my blog after all.
Flats, my friends, are flat out amazing. No question about it. Flat out flattering even. Flat-tastic. I’ll stop… reluctantly. Just take my word for it, and check out all the amazing flats you could get TODAY during Barefoot Tess’s 25% off flats sale. You won’t be disappointed, and neither will your checkbook! Use code ‘FLAT‘ on the first page of checkout to make sure you get the discount!
It is too hot to blog, but I just wanted to let everyone out in the cyber world know my knuckles are sweating. Yeah, my whole body is sweating – but there are actual beads of sweat on the knuckles on my hands. Didn’t know that was possible. Especially sitting indoors near two full powered fans.
My my, we have a celeb foot identifying expert among our fans. That’s right – in under 1 hour of the contest going live – my very first guesser correctly identified these fabulous feet. So fast I almost can’t believe my eyes – but it’s true. Now all that’s left to do is share her glory with the world:
Now the mandatory anticipation drum roll…
The $25 coupon grand prize goes to this week’s winner: LILY! Congrats to LILY who correctly identified the proud size 10.5 Oprah Winfrey as this week’s mystery famous feet. Proof for those skeptics out there:
We can’t all be famous feet enthusiasts or $25 coupon winners, but we all can head over to Barefoot Tess and check out TWO GREAT DEALS going on now: FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders over $100, and the incredible Sale of the Day – 50% off Blowfish Hopi’s (use code ‘HOPI‘ on the first page of checkout for your discount).
The first person to correctly identify the celebrity in the shoes pictured below by commenting to this blog will receive a $25 coupon for Barefoot Tess!
Rules: The name must be submitted as a comment to this entry, must reference the correct celebrity pictured above, and must be spelled correctly. Once I receive a comment with the correct answer – I will post a congratulations to the winner and the contest will be over. However, I love both guessing games and searching for fabulous famous footwear so it may resurface in weeks to come… as it has a few times already…
Good luck!

It’s like the Energizer Bunny – but a really well dressed, fabulous shoe doting Energizer Bunny. Barefoot Tess’ 35% off sale is STILL GOING and going and going – but it can’t go on forever! In fact, this amazing sale ends tonight at midnight so hurry!
We are re-locating two doors down to a bigger space (lots more shoes on the way – need a place to store them!) and so we are packing up and moving out… making for lots of boxes, shoes, and inventory to transport. Help us lighten our load and take some boxes off our shelves for us! You get to help, and you get new shoes. Ideal really.
So enjoy, and use the code ‘35OFF’ to cash in big on your favorite styles! (some exclusions apply) I’ll leave you to your shopping now…
The weather is nice again! I love sunny, warm, glowing days. Did you ever notice how people giggle more when it is sunny out? I’m on to something – seasonal mood disorders and happy lamps and sunshine endorphines – it all affects the giggle too. Needless to say, I’m giggling.
Off to play in the sun – but before I go check out these sun-loving favorites of mine at Barefoot Tess:
Not a deal: Today’s raining, grey, gloomy, wet weather.
A deal: Having just enough milk in the nearly finished carton to make my breakfas
Not a deal: My dog eagerly jumping on my toe (excited to see me up and about this morning), inadvertently digging her toe nail into my flesh and causing major pain, and minor blood.
A deal: Finding one perfect sized square bandaid in the bottom of my bathroom cabinet
An even BIGGER deal: You can save up to 80% (ok – literally? 79.something percent… but I figure that was close enough to round up) on some of the shoes in Barefoot Tess’ Deals and Steals category! Shoes that were already marked down to tremendously low prices (we are talking 1/2, 1/3, even 1/4 the original price!) are an additional 15% off TODAY when you use the code ‘STEAL.’ Yep – that is a steal, and a deal!
Kinda makes my last drop of milk and final square bandaid look measly in comparison. Then again, shoes always trump everything else in life… so why am I surprised?
