These are a few of my favorite things…

Sometimes I wonder how one procrastinated in the age before the internet. For me, the world wide web is the perfect medium – i have 5 or 6 (or 7) favorite sites that are my go-to for a quick mental break. Celebrity gossip? check. Latest fashion? check. Facebook? check (speaking of – become a friend of Barefoot Tess on Facebook!) Those are the heavy hitters, but then I have a few more obscure sites on which I also like to fritter the time away. For the scoop on upcoming clothing and accessories designers, I love Not Couture. Recently I signed up for GOOP, Gwyneth Paltrow’s new site and newsletter that “nourishes the inner aspect.” For recipes and meal ideas, I can’t beat Epicurious. For home furnishing ideas, I love to scroll through my friend Liz’s blog, High and Low Designs. One thing I’m always in the market for, however, are tall-friendly sites – whether about clothing, activites, or simply commiserations on the joys and difficulties of being tall. I know other customers feel similarly, and so I’m enlisting all of you to send me your favorite tall-related sites. As motivation, anyone who sends in a name will be entered in a drawing for a $150 shopping spree that will be held on December 15th (just in time to spend it on some of our amazing new holiday shoes – check out Betta Carrano!) In the name of procrastination, help a girl out!

I know how it feels to be tall and shop – less than pleasant. Here’s a few of my favorites…
Best place to get long jammies (some of my PJ bottoms are so long they (gasp) drag on the floor: http://www.tallandall.com/shop.html
Great place you can depend on to always have long and extra long sizes in jeans/pants if you love Luckys and Silvers:
