Barefoot Tess Customers Unite!

September 17th, 2008 by admin

As uncle sam would say, we want YOU!

So here at BFT, we’re always trying to put ourselves in the mind of our customers to figure out exactly what it is you want. At shoe shows, we think “will she like a heel this high? does she need more flats? can she find a work-appropriate shoe on our site?”  Although we like to think of ourselves as pretty good mindreaders, we’re not as good as the real thing… in other words, YOU.
To that end, we need your help! Answer the five questions below to give us a better sense of who you are and what you like, and as a gesture of our thanks you will:
1) automatically receive a 5% off code for everything on the site
 2) be entered to win a MEGA BFT SHOPPING SPREE.
With all of the cute new fall shoes coming in, we’re going to have to make sure no one here at the BFT office enters under an alias!! Feel free to respond to us at tess@barefoottess.com or by posting a response on the blog.

1. What is your height?
What is the upper limit you would wear on heels?
   a) below two inches
   b) 2-2.5 inches
   c) 3-3.5 inches
   d) 4 inches and above
2.  What are your favorite stores or sites on which to buy shoes (other than us, of course…)?
3. If there is one thing you would change about BFT, what would it be?
4. Any designers you’d like to see us carry in the future?

5. Last question is optional – what is your favorite barefoot tess shoe of all time??

  1. Francine Says:

    1. The highest heel I could go is d.) 4 inches or higher. (With larger feet, one can wear higher heels than those with shorter feet).

    2. My favorite online stores are Zappos.com and funkefeet.com and super-sexy-high-heels.com (all are good with women with larger feet :) .

    3. For Barefoottess.com I would change the format of the website, to make it easier to search for a specific type of shoe one wants (heels or flats or booties vs. pumps).

    4. All the designers you carry are awesome, who needs more?

  2. Lauren Says:

    1. I’m 5’10″ and the highest heel I wear is c) 3-3.5 inches
    2. I love Nordstrom (both in store and online) because they have an awesome no-risk return policy and a decent range of large-sized shoes (plus the sales people don’t glare at me when I ask for my size!). I used to frequent designershoes.com before finding barefoottess, but they don’t really have that much for people my age (22).
    3. A more forgiving return policy — it’s hard to know how a shoe is going to fit and whether or not you’re going to like how it looks in person. It sucks to pay shipping both ways for a pair of shoes that didn’t work out, or to be stuck with shoes that don’t fit because they were on clearance. At the very least you should issue store credit and include a return shipping label. I LOVE the shoes on your site, but it’s hard to justify a purchase when your competitors offer a lower risk for me hard-to-fit feet.
    4. Linea Paolo, Steve Madden (and Steven by Steve Madden), Tory Birch …

  3. Stephanie Says:

    1. I am 6ft tall and the highest heel I am willing to wear is 2.5 inches… mostly because I topple over in anything taller.

    2. Nordstrome, Kathryn Kerrigan, Zappos and Endless

    3. A better return policy, I debate for a long time on whether or not to spend the money on a pair of shoes because I know if I don’t like them returning them will be difficult. Maybe adopt something similar to what Kathryn Kerrigan does on her site with the shoe tube?

    4. Linea Paolo, Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman

    5. I can’t decide, so far I’ve loved all my shoes from barefoot tess, but the ones I wear the most are my Sam Edelman flats because they are sooooooo comfortable and cute!

  4. Ronnie Says:

    1. What is your height? 6′-0″
What is the upper limit you would wear on heels? <4 inches
    2. Favorite stores or sites? Piperlime, Nordstrom, Designershoes
    3. change at BFT? Pricing getting up there, website reformat to easily search by size/color/heel.
    4. designers for the future? Bettye Muller, Chie Mihara, Steve Madden, more Dolce Vita,
    5. Favorite BFT shoe of all time?? Haven’t found one yet from BFT.

  5. Laura Says:

    1. What is your height? 5’10
What is the upper limit you would wear on heels?
    c) 3-3.5 inches

    2. What are your favorite stores or sites on which to buy shoes (other than us, of course…)?
    Nordstrom, J. Crew

    3. If there is one thing you would change about BFT, what would it be?
Not much, although I sometimes balk at the prices.

    4. Any designers you’d like to see us carry in the future?
    You have a great selection!

    5. Last question is optional – what is your favorite barefoot tess shoe of all time??
Sophie heel, I have all five colors! Also anything by French Sole, they are so comfortable.

  6. Leslie Says:

    1. I am 5’8″ and the highest heel that I wear is no more than 4in. Most of my dressy shoes are about 3.5in.

    2. My favorite shoe shopping sites are: Endless, Ninewest, Nordstrom, Largefeet, CinderellaUK, BFT of course, Zappos, Samanta, Designershoes, Onlineshoes,Payless, Aerosoles… and counting! As we all know since it is difficult to walk into a store and just buy shoes off the rack you always have to keep your eye out elsewhere, right!

3.I would like more style suggestions on how to wear different style shoes and would like you to include more fit tips. Include more wide fit and wide calf selections. I think that the price point for most of your shoes allows that the company incur more of the shipping and handling at least on orders over $75.00. So it’s settled right, PERMANENT STANDARD FREE SHIPPING AND EXCHANGES ON BFT ORDERS OVER $75.(Just a subtle and inconspicuous suggestion)

    4. So many great brands already.

  7. Veronique Says:

    1.) I am 6′ 0″
a.) I would go as high as 3″, but i live in flats and 2″ and unders.
2.)favorite sites are jcrew.com and nordstrom cause i can get my size 12′s there!
3.) I would change the filtering on the site. I can search for boots, and I can search for size 12, but i can’t filter for boots in only size 12!
4.) you have a great designer offering. I’m satisfied! I wish you had a better selection of riding boots. I have been looking for a pair of crisp-looking flat boots in my size for over a year :(

  8. Bo Says:

    1) I am 6’0. The Tallest heel I would wear is probably 3 inches (very very rarely) but let’s be real, I stick with flats most of the time

    2) Other than your site, I really like Nordstrom, designershoes.com, and zappos.com

    3) If I were to change one thing, I would try to find some shoes for the younger BFT-ers that are a little more price conscious. I’m in college, and though I would love to, can’t possibly fathom spending $700 on a pair of shoes ( ok so thats one of the more expensive pairs, but you get my drift) so maybe like a BP section like Nordstrom has…?

    4) Steve Madden! Franco Sarto… I dont know.. I guess for the younger generation it isnt so much the designer, as it is the shoe trend. So fo instance, I am looking for a pair of suede boots now that have fringe- if you carried somehting like that for the winter, that would be awesome

    5) I love my Dolce Vita slouch boots, but I don’t think I’ve bought enough shoes from here to have a favorite. Really though, I love the shoes that you do carry, and once I do get out in the working world, I am sure I will be a more consistent shopper ;)

  9. Saive Says:

    1. I’m 5’7″ – big feet without the height and I can’t do higher than 2 inches because I’m scared of burning balls (em, of the feet)
    2. large-size-designer-shoes.co.uk (irrelevant to Americans), designershoes.com, which will ship internationally. BT is the best by far tho’!
    3.
More advanced search parameters (I want to search for booties!). Plus you need a favicon!
    4.
    Pedro Garcia, Ugg, Nebuloni

  10. barefoottess Says:

Thanks for writing in everyone!! Such a big help. Veronique – look at the new Sadie boots from Corso Como – i think you’ll love them and they come in a 12! A perfect riding boot.

  11. Nelly Angelova Says:

    1. I am 175 cm tall and in my closet you can find shoes randing from flats to 12 cm-heels.

    2. As I leave outside the US, I regularly encounter the problem of non-delivery outside the US.
I shop with largefeet.com, http://www.horsch-shop.de, zappos.com (I find a friend to deliver them to me), designershoes.com (I was unhappy with the service)

    3. Those are really small details: I would suggest bigger images of the shoes, when they appear 9 by page. As I like to use the option “view all”, when I select a certain shoe and then go back, it never sends you where you’ve been in the list; you need to start over from the beginning. It is hard for me to convert inch measurements that you use with boots.

    4. The designer selection you have is excellent, but everyone likes to see more and more:)
I would suggest that you add designers that do not ship internationally from their websites and retailers, and therefore customers like me do not have access to. I think of Steve Madden, Nine West, Stuart Weitzman, etc.

    5. Not decided

  12. Lucy Says:

    1. I’m 5″11 and I would wear 4″ heels. Higher heels tend to be more flattering on the leg and make your feet look smaller.

    2. I have such trouble finding shoes in my size, so usually I go to department stores (Myer or David Jones in Australia). Many websites are from the U.S. and won’t ship to Australia, so really BarefootTess is my new favourite place!

    3. I’d like to see more shoes that are suitable for young people going out and having fun. Higher heals, more fun-type shoes. There are a few of course, and don’t get me wrong, the selection on this site is excellent compared to many shoe stores.

    4. Steve Madden and NineWest.

    5. I just ordered my first shoes off this site the week before last, and I’m expecting them in the mail this week. Although I havn’t seen them, my favourites are the Corso Como Dodie Wedge. Corso Como has some lovely shoes.

  13. Julia Says:

    1. I am 6’3″ tall and would prefer max 2-2.5 inches. Flats & kitten heels are great too.
    2. I get most of my dress shoes from the Nordstrom Rack and a few from BFT. Also zappos.com and designershoes.com
    3. I wear a 13WW so more wide selections would be MUCH appreciated.
    4. Franco Sarto in wides? Please?
    5. Bernardo Brad ballet flat

  14. Alisha Says:

    1. I am 5′ 10” and I would wear up to 3-3.5″.

    2. Zappos, Payless. Not because they are my favorite, but because I have a hard time finding size 13′s anywhere else!

    3. I would make it easier to sort and search with more than one field – style, size and price ranges.

    4. If only it were realistic to think that Steve Madden, Nine West, Ann Taylor, or J. Crew could come in 13′s.

    5. Corso Como Fair. They are so amazingly cute and comfortable!

  15. Daisy Says:

    1) 6’1, and I wear kitten heels at the most – anything bigger and I get very wobbly! I would consider bigger if they were solid and not spindly heels.

    2) Randomly I’ve discovered amazon.com have a good selection of shoes in my size – although some are, ahem, a little niche ;)

    3. I’d love it if you did cheaper shipping to the UK! (and also if the prices were just a smidgen less as I’m working to a budget!)

    4. Oh oh please please persuade Irregular Choice to go big – I am in luuurrrve with these and get serious shoe envy because my work colleague keeps buying from them.

    5. I’ve loved everything I’ve bought – my batman havainas are amazing and I live in my sam edelman cassia *black*. I’m also lusting after the gladiator sandals and the dance heels (I forget the name but they come in brown+pink+black).

  16. sunny Says:

    1. I’m 5’7″ Another one who lacks the height but has big (size 11.5 )feet.

    2. Nordstrom and J Crew. Sometimes I buy things from zappos but their size selection isn’t that great.

    3. Fast and free shipping if you spend over a certain amount.

    4. Maloles, Pink Studio, and more All Black (heels). These are all designers whose shoes I ‘ve seen on the anthropologie website and wished I could fit into.

  17. sunny Says:

Oops. I forgot to mention the heel height. I wear up to a 3″-3.5″ heel.

  18. Ginger Says:

    1. 6′ 4”, nope to heels!
    2. ebay, amazon, barefoot tess mostly!
    3. more reviews!
    4. eh, I don’t know designers, I would loveeee some vintage-inspired shoes, maybe adorable loafers or spectator shoes with cut-outs, flat ankle boots, woven leather look!
    5. Matt Benson buckle flats, bernardo scrunch shoes. Both falling apart, hence, I’m back here for more shopping!

  19. Bree Says:

    1. 6’1″ and the highest I go these days is three inches.

    2. Endless and Zappos. Used to order tons from Designer Shoes but alas, not really seeing anything I like there anymore.

    3. As some of the other posters said, I too would like to see the site reformatted so that I could search by more than one parameter. It’s frustrating to try to sort through all the shoes you have in my size just to see the boots, for instance.

    4. Um…Louboutin?

    5. My mukluk black boots are AWESOME and so fun…even though the dogs like to chew on the pom poms.

  20. k m watson Says:

    1. What is your height? 5’11

What is the upper limit you would wear on heels?

    b) 2-2.5 inches

    2. What are your favorite stores or sites on which to buy shoes (other than us, of course…)? Zappos

    3. If there is one thing you would change about BFT, what would it be? I wish you guys could assist in finding shoes or boots that we may have seen elsewhere. I have been looking for a pair of see thru wellingtons similar to the ones worn by Sandra Bullock in Two Weeks Notice.

  21. Ayanna Says:

What is your height? > 6’1

1.What is the upper limit you would wear on heels?
    d) 4 inches and above I LOVE HEELS!

    2. What are your favorite stores or sites on which to buy shoes (other than us, of course…)? I like Nordstrom and Zappos.

    3. If there is one thing you would change about BFT, what would it be? The availability of half sizes. I have wide feet so it would be nice to find my favorite shoes in a 13.5….

    4. Any designers you’d like to see us carry in the future? Kenneth Cole and Steve Madden both carry some shoes in larger sizes. Those would be nice!

    5. Last question is optional – what is your favorite barefoot tess shoe of all time?? My Pink Matt Bernson Swain Sandals.

    2. Nordstroms, Zappos, and Salvatore Ferragamo (they will custom size shoes).

    3. I would like more specific measurements, especially calf size for boots.

    4. I would love to see some Steve Madden! Also, Christian Louboutin would be excellent – these are usually hard to find outside of major metropolitan areas.

    5. My favorite pair of shoes that I own from BFT are the Manimal Vintage Button Moccasins. They are fantastic! My favorite, that I do not own, are the Chie Mihara Saigon Boots. They look so cute and have a classic style.

  23. Vernell Stokes Says:

    1. I am six feet

2.The upper limit for heels is 2.5″ Possibly 3″ is I plan on sitting down alot!

    3. My favorite stores or sites are Zappos.com, Nordstromshoes.com, and Marmi Shoe Stores

    4. If there is one thing Iwould change about BFT, what would it be? Include more designers.

    4. Any designers you’d like to see us carry in the future?
    Stuart Weisman

    5. Last question is optional – what is your favorite barefoot tess shoe of all time?? New to shopping your site. Give me time already have my eye on a pair of boots. Gotta have them!

  24. Vernell Stokes Says:

    1. What is your height? Six feet
What is the upper limit you would wear on heels? “B”
    a) below two inches
    b) 2-2.5 inches
    c) 3-3.5 inches

    Nordstrom

    3. If there is one thing you would change about BFT, what would it be?
Love to shop at BFT because it’s almost impossible to find size 13 in Canada. My only suggestion…Continue to persuade designers to provide great shoes in size 13!

    4. Any designers you’d like to see us carry in the future?
    You have a great selection!

    5. Last question is optional – what is your favorite barefoot tess shoe of all time??
Love my Delman flats… so sad they no longer carry 13′s

    2. largefeet.com, zappos.com designershoes.com
    3. Slouch boots in fourteens, Hampton boots in fourteens, come to think of it all shoes in fourteens. Or maybe I could get a filter so I don’t get emails, visit the site and have my heart broken when the size stops at 13
4.Anyone who will offer 14s! Franco Sarto, Chinese Laundry, Sudini
    5. I love my Dolce Vita Dijons

  29. Chelsea Says:

    1) I just started wearing 3 inch heals, but I get the most wear out of my flats. Heals I only wear out at night, so I want them to be extra cute!

    2) I’ve ordered from Zappos many times and found their shipping quick, and their returns easy.

3)I always shop by size and sometimes a shoe may fit a little small or large and I’d like to know before I purchase it if I should order it a 1/2 or full size differently.

4)I don’t know about designers, but I love stacked heals and rounded toes ( I don’t like a pointy toe on a size 13 foot) colors and prints.

    5) I wear my purple Corso Como’s every time I go out now, and I love all the complements I get on them! beautiful leather, wedge heal, and a peep toe! Love them!

  30. barefoottess Says:

Thanks for writing in everyone – so helpful! We’ll mail you the discount code in a few days. Kelly – just wanted to let you know that we do have some size 13 Delmans coming in soon so keep your eyes peeled! Thanks, Tess

  31. Victoria Kowalewski Says:

    1. I am 5″10.5. I wear a 4 inch heel, but rarely. The 2 inch heel is more of a standard for me.
    2. Shopbop.com has some beautiful shoes, but the shipping costs to Canada are ridiculous. I also like JCrew.
    3. More designer selection. Please please please try to convince Marc Jacobs, Kenneth Cole REACTION, and Pour La Victoire to carry larger sizes. Style wise, some over the knee boots would be dreamy.
    4. See above. Also, Modern Vintage, Frye (yes yes yes!), Joie, Derek Lam.
    5. Loeffler Randall Matilda Boot -I had to save up for these and they were worth it. They are the princes of my wardrobe.

  32. Jess Says:

What is the upper limit you would wear on heels? Answer = 3-3.5 inches, but only for my precious Chie Miharas :)

    3. If there is one thing you would change about BFT, what would it be?

more “smaller sizes” -I’m a size 9 and sometimes I see such great shoes that start at 10. that said, i know i’m not quite your target audience but i love your selections!!

    4. Any designers you’d like to see us carry in the future?

LOVE your current selection. Especially Chie Mihara, Manimals, and Tibi. Would also like to see Coclico and Rachel Comey.

    4. just have cute, trendy, low heeled shoes
    5.corso como sandals

  34. Brandie Says:

    1. I am 6′ with size 13 feet. My boyfriend is 5’9″ so when I’m with him I prefer flats but when I’m out with the girls mu highest heel height would be 3″ but that’s pushing it, usually 2″.

    2. I live in Canada so I prefer to shop at Tallcrest shoes that way I don’t get stuck with duty. But I have bought from Nordstoms too.

    3. I love you website but some of the shoes are over priced for my budget so maybe some more reasonably priced shoes.

    4. I like Franco Sarto and Steve Madden but any designer shoes under $120 would do it for me!

    5. I’ve just started buying from Barefoottess so I have only a handful of shoes but love them all! Keep up the good work.

  35. Saive Says:

Yay for the short BFT girls. 5’7″ and under!

  36. Glamazon Says:

    1.I am 6′
Usually I wear flats – 1″, but I am trying to teach myself how to wear 3″ … I live in NYC and walk everywhere so its a challenge.
    2. BFT is by far my favorite site! If I’m desperate I’ll try Zappos.
    3. I would try and encourage customers to comment on the shoes they purchased or tried. This is one feature of Zappos that I find really helpful in deciding which shoes I end up purchasing. On BFT, the comment section always seems to be empty.
    4. I would love to see a boot in the shape of the Matilde in the $300 price point, in black. I would also be ecstatic to see some edgier styles, a la miss sixty.

My fave BFT shoe of all time (so far) are the Corso Como black riding boots from last year.

  37. Judy Says:

    1) I’m 5’11” and the tallest I would go is probably 4″
    2)Nordstrom, Shopstyle, Yoox
    3)Return Policy
    4)UGG, Marni

  38. sarah c Says:

    1. I’m 5’11″ and the tallest heel I would wear is probably 3-4 inches. But I pretty much only wear flats, because I walk everywhere and live in a small, snowy town.

    2. I’m from Canada and we have a great store here called Tall Girls. I’ve also ordered from Fluevog. He’s a Cdn designer and his shoes are fantastic (but they only go to size 12 ;( )

    3. Shipping costs to Canada! I ordered one pair of shoes that fit really badly, but I didn’t want to bother sending it back. it had already cost so much and I was worried I’d have to pay for shipping again.

    4. Fluevog! Frye boots!

    5. Hmmm… I probably love my bright pink chuck taylors most of all (not from BFT)

  39. susan matthews Says:

    1. I’m 5′ 9″
    2. Limit on heels is 2, maybe 2 1/2 “…..I’m 56 years old [big feet have been a problem for a LONG time]
    3. More Delmans and Paul Mayers
    4. †alk Frye and Cole Haan into making larger sizes for you
    5. Any NICE QUALITY ballet flat that isn’t too fru-fru [no flowers, ruffles] Ferragamo made a beautifu flat this fall but the 12 runs like a 11.
    6. THANK YOU FOR MEASURING THE LENGTH AND WITDTH OF THE SHOES. IT REALLY, REALLY HELPS IN FIGURING WHAT SIZE TO ORDER

  40. susan matthews Says:

    1. I’m 5′ 9″
    2. Limit on heels is 2, maybe 2 1/2 “…..I’m 56 years old [big feet have been a problem for a LONG time]

    4. †alk Frye and Cole Haan into making larger sizes for you
    5. Any NICE QUALITY ballet flat that isn’t too fru-fru [no flowers, ruffles] Ferragamo made a beautiful flat this fall but the 12 runs like a 11.

  41. Danielle Says:

I’m 5’11″ and the highest heel I would go is probably 3″ (unless the shoes in question were so fabulous that I would risk giraffe-like stature to be seen in them).
I like widewidths.com because I have swimmer’s calves and I need the extra width for certain boots. Zappos is good, too.
I would LOVE if you would list the calf circumference of your boots in the description (see above mega-calves comment).
I’m not so up on all of the shoe designers…that’s why I come to you!! You guys handle all that stuff for me.

  42. Lillian Says:

    1. 6’2″ — My upper limit on heels is 3″. Any more and it’s just too hard to walk!

    2. For now it’s just you — I take a 14/15, which makes choices VERY limited.

    3. More photos, perhaps with people in the shoes/boots wearing outfits so we can get a better idea of how the shoe/boot looks. Also, exact measurements for every shoe/boot. I’d like to get the Moc’s Mukluk Boot (so cute!) but only the available sizes are shown, no measurements. I can’t afford to take the chance that it won’t fit properly on a guess! Finally, maybe some more opportunities for discounts. It’s hard having big feet, and even harder having to dig deep into the pocketbook every time a new shoe is needed!! I can appreciate the trouble it takes to get designers to produce their shoes in such large sizes..but..!

    4. Some of the not quite so high-class names..Guess, Nine West, etc. To have some of those shoes in large sizes would be brilliant.

    5. I haven’t decided yet!!

  43. Danny Says:

I try to keep my heel height max 3 inches, I’m 5’9 and hate feeling like a Giant. My favorite shoe stores are Nordstroms, Zappos, BFT and I have a few others that I shop. I would love to see more Steve Madden, and more stylish heels, I think designers forget large feet women love girly shoes too, For that reason I often consider trying to start my own shoe line. I agree with another blogger, in saying some of the shoe prices are getting up there and a more forgiving shoe return policy. I have not yet found a favorite BFT shoe yet. If you ever need an opinion or a shoe idea I am your women to contact, I love shoes and fashion, and believe that is my true calling. I just have to find a way to turn what I love into a career. Large feet women rock on.

  44. Care Says:

I am 5’11″ but I used to be taller. I choose to wear heels between 1″-2″. I wear a 12.5-13, and have problem feet.
    2. What are your favorite stores or sites on which to buy shoes (other than us, of course…)? auditions, shoemall, footsmart, AMO, nordstrom, sometimes famous footwear or payless (for sandals, since they rarely have bigger than 11 or 12). I live in Alaska, so mail order is my best option.
    3. If there is one thing you would change about BFT, what would it be? I don’t need designer shoes, how about some average-priced shoes? More information re: insoles, other features for us working people. Also, I don’t like your policy of not returning sale shoes. Excuse me, what if they don’t fit???
    4. About designers— I have been outsized so long that I never learned about designers, I just want a comfortable shoe that doesn’t look like an “old lady’s” – or a man’s – shoe.

I’ve always thought that a newsletter for Tall women would be very good — featuring clothing places and other resources for us women that have long torsos and arms and hands, as well as long legs/feet. Advertisers could include TallGirl and JJill (who, by the way, never has any shoes above 11-12). My pet name for this imaginary newsletter is “Long-stemmed Rose.” Do other tall women have health issues with their feet and backs?? (Could it be from cramming our feet into shoes that never quite fit? ) Did anyone else discover that women’s workout places are for average size women (don’t buy a membership)? Thanks for listening.

  45. MB Says:

    1) I am 6’0″ and wear 11 1/2 and wear only below two inches
    2) What are your favorite stores – Aerosoles and Payless. I have ordered from Zappos but prefer to try them on in person.
    3) Change about BFT – more in-store specials. I road trip from DC to the store twice a year. Love it!
    4) As long as they are stylish and fit, don’t care who the designer is.
    5) Two pairs – both are Chie Mihara’s – don’t know their names but one is black with a wide beige band and a buckle on ths side and a pair of fab red Mary Janes. I looooove the Chie’s

  46. Judy Says:

    Height: 5’9″ (size 11)
highest heel- so far I’ve been sticking with flats, being the talles person in a short family/community can be intimidationg enough! but willing to go up to 2″

so far haven’t really been successful online (or in stores either, which explains the state of my empty shoe closet…) but I’v come close on zappos and nordstrom

cheaper prices!! I’ve found a few beautiful shoes that I would be willing to spend “more” on….but not that much more!!

haven’t bought a shoe yet from BFT (just discovered the site recently) but hope to soon!

  47. Alison Says:

I am 5’11″ (size 11 narrow) and the highest heel height I’ll wear is about 3″. My favorite shoe store is Nordstrom (& Nordstrom Rack) for their selection not only of larger sizes but various widths as well. A suggestion I have is to be able to search not only by size but also width. So far I have only purchased one pair of shoes but LOVE them. Penny&Kenny Arabesque.

    2. Jcrew.com, ninewest.com, zappos.com, aerosoles.com and nordstromshoes.com. I used to shop designershoes.com but I hate their website design too much to do it anymore.

    3. I don’t really like when you have multiple entries for the same shoe in different colors – show us one, then we can click on it and see the color options. Also, I wish every shoe had a fit tip, and I wish there were more search filtering options.

    4. I’m pretty happy with your selection, nothing comes to mind….

    5. Dolce Vita Dahlia! I am kicking myself for not buying every color when I had the chance.
